FAQ - Entity Builder

What are Base Values?

Think of Base Values as global modifiers that are always at work in the background. You need to configure the value, but the associated functionality is handled by City of Brass and is not user configurable. That's important, so I'll repeat it: Base Value functionality is handled by City of Brass and is not user configurable. You provide the value, we provide the function.

Although you can use Base Values with any entity, each one is designed to support common functionality needed for specific games.

Base Values are reflected in the Calculated Bonus of an element they modify.
