The Glade of Life

The Glade of Life

Nestled at the foot of the Star Mountains near Khle'cayre, the Last Aerie of the aarakocra, the Glade of Life is the center of worship of many nature deities. At its center is the Fountain of Unicorns which feeds the Unicorn Run.

The glade is ringed by 1000 year old gnarled and twisting oaks. Countless circles of korreds can be found there on clear nights dancing throughout the glade. They do not welcome mortals in their revelry but should any happen upon them, they will compel them to dance. Their dancing is so vigorous that most mortals die before they finish. Those who survive are considered honorary members of their circle.

The Dancing Goddess, Shiallia, the blonde haired korred daughter of Mielikki, is said to dance there as well on many a midsummer night. Other nature goddesses including Chauntea, Eldath, Lurue, and Mielikki are known to bathe in the pool on occasion and even join in the revelry.
