The Bladewing Hills

These craggy hummocks are a shattered stretch of land that was once covered in glaciers. Riven with canyons, rifts, and faults, the highlands are hard to reach and the lowlands hard to escape. Cold winds and driving rain commonly assault the area, feeding frigid rivers and sub-arctic lakes. The harsh terrain supports flocks of axe beaks and lumbering herds of catoblepas. Devil dogs range among gullies and game trails, with packs large and canny enough to take down larger prey.
